For caregivers

You can't watch their mask all night. MaskAlarm can.

People living with dementia often pull their CPAP mask off without realizing it — and untreated sleep apnea makes cognitive symptoms worse. MaskAlarm watches the bed and sounds a loud alarm the moment the mask comes off — and alerts you by text or a notification on your own phone, wherever you are — so you can respond instead of discovering it at breakfast.

Caregiver alerts

Get the alert on your phone — by text or app.

The moment the mask comes off (or monitoring stops), MaskAlarm reaches the people watching over the sleeper — wherever they are. Two ways, and you can mix them:

💬

By text message

No app to install — the alert arrives as a regular text on any phone that receives texts. Each caregiver gets a confirmation text when added and can reply STOP anytime. US phone numbers for now.

🔔

By app notification

The caregiver installs MaskAlarm free, taps "I'm a caregiver," and scans your QR code (or types the pairing code). Alerts arrive as loud app notifications — iPhone or Android, anywhere.

📱

Any phone, any distance

Next room or across the country. One caregiver can watch over several people, and the free caregiver app never needs a camera or a subscription of its own.

👥

Up to 3 caregivers

Add up to three people per sleeper — any mix of text and app. A spouse in the room, plus family who just want to know.

🎚️

You stay in control

Turn any caregiver on or off, send a test alert anytime, and choose whether the alarm also sounds on the sleeper's own phone — silence it for someone already in the room, keep it on for someone farther away.

Included in the subscription

Caregiver alerts — text and app both — come with the monthly subscription at no extra cost. The caregiver's own app is completely free.

Good to know

Text alerts go to US phone numbers for now; app alerts work anywhere the caregiver has the free MaskAlarm app. Alerts rely on the sleeper's phone having power and an internet connection. MaskAlarm is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for in-person supervision or professional care.
